With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joyce Scherner of Akron, Iowa, who passed away on November 27, 2023 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Waterbury and Genevieve Waterbury (McMillan); her son Arnell Johannsen; her granddaughter Lisa Weber; her sister Audrey Seamond (Keith); her siblings-in-law, Marlin Osterbuhr and Sharon Waterbury; her nephew Travis Tentinger; and also Arnold Johannsen.
She is survived by: her children, Leann Weber (Jake) of Sedona, AZ, Terry Johannsen of Glendale, AZ, Bradley Johannsen (Lori) of Sedona, AZ and Rebecca Wiles of Akron, IA; and her siblings, Sandra Osterbuhr of Akron, IA, Floyd Jr. Waterbury of Hawarden, IA and Beth Sykes (Dale) of Helena, MT. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
