It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerry Bertrand of Akron, Iowa, who passed away on September 23, 2024, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Spencer Bertrand and Lucille Bertrand (Heitman); and his brothers-in-law, Gary McGonigle and Don Kapfer. He is survived by: his sisters, Vera Kapfer and Mary Ann McGonigle; and his nieces and nephews, Mark, Terry, David, Ed, Paul, Cindy, Lisa, Mae, June and Karen. He is also survived by 2 great nephews; 2 great nieces; and other extended relatives.
