We are sad to announce that on September 11, 2020, at the age of 81, Hyla Olson of Akron, Iowa passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Merritt Sherard and Mary Ann Sherard (Wipf); her husband Jerry; and her sisters-in-law, Carol Sherard and Patricia Skattum.
She is survived by: her former husband Jerome 'Jerry Olson; her sons, Doug Olson (Kerrie) and David Olson of Akron; her grandchildren, Spencer Olson, Natalie Olson and Kendra Olson of Akron; her brother Clifford Sherard of Hartford, SD; and her brother-in-law Stan Skattum of Keller, TX. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
