She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Rohlfs and Lizzie Rohlfs (Popken); her husband Robert Dirks; her parents-in-law, William and Hannah Dirks (Pageler); her siblings, Norman Rohlfs, Leo Rohlfs, Raymond Rohlfs (Eileen), Leona Herzberg (Elmer), Vernon Rohlfs, Robert "Sam" Rohlfs (Katy) and Gene Rohlfs; and her parents-in-law, Kenneth Borchers, LeRoy Dirks (Fern), Henry Dirks (Della), Albert Dirks (Marie), Leonard Dirks (Dorothy) and Marie Epling (Kenneth).
She is survived by: her children, Myron Dirks (Jeanne) of Waverly, IA, Mahlon Dirks (Kathy) of Spokane, WA, Kristin Smith (Steve) and Karen Carlsen (Doug) of Le Mars, IA; and her siblings, Richard "Pete" Rohlfs (Lennice) of Le Mars and Joyce Borchers of Le Mars. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren.
