He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Henderson Lias and Florence Bernice Lias (Rhodes); his wife Mary Lias (Bakker); his siblings, Bob Lias (Margaret), Lorraine Bauch (Paul) and Harvey Lias (Lois); his son Kevin McGinnis; his son-in-law Jim Rhodes; and his grandson-in-law James Jackson.
He is survived by: his children, Jack McGinnis (Lois) of Berthoud, CO, Lois Rhodes-Mahoney (Jerry) of Lincoln, NE, Ed McGinnis of Akron and Mark McGinnis (Laura) of Columbus, NE; his daughter-in-law Nancy McGinnis of Akron; his granddaughter Kimberly Riss (Greg); his great grandchild Taylor; his granddaughter Jenna Sais (Brandon); his great grandchildren, Savannah and Sterling; his grandchild Corey Rhodes (Angie); his great grandchildren, Leksi and Zoe; his grandchild Cameron Rhodes (Miranda); his great grandchildren, Spencer, Rachel, Marisa Engels (Robert), Chelsea McGinnis, Bobbi Jo McGinnis, Mark Jr. McGinnis (Beth), Rory McGinnis (Alicia), Tanya Jackson and Bobby Carson; his sister Ruth Lowery; and also, Jack, Sophie, Mike, Landon, Aden, Falyn, Traevon and Tyree. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
