It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Avonelle Sargent of Akron, Iowa, who passed away on November 16, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Bard Lilly and Viola Lilly (McDougall); her husband Bob; her son-in-law Keith Murkins; and her friends, Lorna Whiting and Lauris Dudgeon.
She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Murkins of Sioux City, Bobbi Dupree of Houston and Danna Barnes of St. Paul, Minnesota; her adoptive daughter Nancy Ruhland; and her friend Dennis Wilken of Akron. She is also survived by six grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; five great great grandchildren.
