Johnston (Ainsworth, Iowa), born in Washington, Iowa, who passed away on September 24, 2019, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilbur Schantz and Marie Schantz (Wenger); her spouse Dale Johnston; her siblings, Ronald and Jean; and her siblings-in-law, Willard "Ike" Love and Jacque Schantz.
She is survived by: her daughters, Jane Johnston of Ainsworth, IA, Janice Johnston-Jones (Don) of Mt. Pleasant, IA and Laura Mincer (Larry) of Columbus Junction, IA; her grandchildren, Patrick James Mincer of Columbus Junction, IA, Holly Marie Jones (Justin Gesling) of Mt. Pleasant, IA, Kaitlin Anne Stogdill (Jared) of Norwalk, IA and Alex Edward Mincer of Columbus Junction, IA; and her siblings, Joann Love of Washington, IA and Leonard Schantz (Dwanna) of Los Lunas, NM..
