It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce Young of Ainsworth, Iowa, who passed away on June 11, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Romer and Eva Romer (Pettyjohn); her son Delbert Junior Young; her sisters, Madeline Lester and Joanne Perry; and her parents-in-law, Ralph and Luverne Young.
She is survived by: her husband Delbert F. Young; her children, Danny Young (Teresa), Charles "Chuck" Young, Garry Young (Charlotte), Eddie Young (Susan) and Kathleen Young (Mark Dowis); and her grandchildren, Brandy Conner (Jody), Dennis Young (Stephanie), Julie Little (Dusty), Tracie Van Wyngarden (Bryce), Lisa Young, Joseph Young (Vanessa), Dylan Young (Ashlee), Ryan Peterson (Jordan Yardley), Hanna Williams (Roy), Sammy Young, Brittina Gatewood (Justin Lloyd) and Alex Young. She is also survived by 24 great grandchildren, 12 great-great grandchildren and one on the way; and many nieces and nephews.
