It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Hora of Ainsworth, Iowa, born in Riverside, Iowa, who passed away on December 12, 2021, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ralph Klein and Mary Klein (Smith); her husband Terry Walter Hora; her brother Rick Klein; her brother-in-law Joe Stender; and her sister Carol Ann Klein.
She is survived by: her children, Becky Thomann (Ken) of Riverside and Pat Hora (Traci) of Ainsworth; her siblings, Jim Klein (Becky) of West Branch, Denny Klein (Mary) of Riverside, Randy Klein (Tina) of Atalissa, Kathy Rath (Ron) of Riverside and Joyce Norris (Roger) of Ainsworth; her grandchildren, Katlin Brenneman (Trey), Kelsey, Mackinze Hora, Kyle, Kristy and Macey Thomann; and her sister-in-law Debbie Stender of Elkader. She is also survived by nieces and nephews and her beloved dog, Buddy.
