Franklin of Afton, Iowa, born in Des Moines, Iowa, who passed away on November 16, 2021, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis N. Vanderhoof and Myrtle Jane Vanderhoof (Bailey); her husband John Lowry Franklin; her sons, David Franklin and Kenneth Dale Franklin; and her children-in-law, Marsha Franklin and Kurt Kiburz.
She is survived by: her children, John Franklin (Judy) of Des Moines, Steven Franklin (Gina) of Marion, Michael Franklin (Linda) of Lancaster, Calif, Jerry Franklin (Jennifer) of DePere, Wisc., Jaynee Wolfe (Duwaine) of Lincoln, Neb., Patricia Sheldon (Jon) of Shellsburg and Amy Ehm (Randy) of Arispe; her daughter-in-law Carol Franklin of Palo, Iowa; and her grandchildren, Troy Franklin, Brenda Poss (Craig), Julia Zornes, Jason Wolfe (Chera), Andy Wolfe (Sara), Kyle Franklin, Amber Holmes (Nate), Tyler Franklin (Bonnie), Heidi Franklin, Dan Franklin, Jarrid Hohensee (Nicole), Melissa Kiburz (Kent), Andrea Buckley (Eric), Heather Marshall (Zach), Jessica Chester (Jonathan), Alex Franklin (Beth), Sam Franklin, Cooper Franklin (Jasmin Morales), Elizabeth Emmons (Jake) and Keith Kiburz (Allie). She is also survived by 26 Great-grandchildren; 4 great-great-grandchildren; and many other extended family.
