He was predeceased by: his parents, Glee Jones and Bernadine Jones (Hoffman); his wife Lucille Woldruff; his brother Richard Jones; his sister-in-law Phyllis Buck (Richard); and his niece Tiffani Braman.
He is survived by: his children, Jan Pettit (Randy) of Afton and Doug Jones (Karen) of Afton; his grandchildren, Alex Pettit (Taylor) of Afton, Sara Pettit of Afton and Trevor Jones of Afton; his great grandchildren, Blaine, Quinn, Dax and Eli Pettit; his brother Ted Jones (Kate) of Shannon City; and his sister-in-law Marcia Jones of Winterset.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are to the Shannon City Community Church, Afton Volunteer Fire Department and East Union Dollars for Scholars.
