He was predeceased by: his parents, Ben Vernon Philpot and Marie Beatrice Schap; his wife Nora Elizabeth Black; his daughter Marie; and his son-in-law Rolland Rollie.
He is survived by: his former wife Carol Guy; his children, Eddy Schap (Angela) of Freeport, Ill. and Cathy Role of Janesville, Wis.; and his stepson Kenneth Cunningham (Becky) of Afton. He is also survived by four grandchildren; 2 two step-grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and 4 step-great-grandchildren.
