He was predeceased by: his father Ralph Goerndt. He is survived by: his mother Phyllis Goerndt of Des Moines; his wife Deb; his brothers, David of Eager, AZ and Kyle (Lori) of Gilbert, AZ; his nephews, Chad and Jason; his son Jeff (Stefani) of Ankeny; his grandchildren, Connor, McKenna Eller (Joseph), Carson and Collin; his son Michael (Angela) of Pleasant Hope, MO; and his pet Milo.
