It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lyla Miller of Afton, Iowa, born in Osceola, Iowa, who passed away on December 20, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilbur Endemen Gillett and Millie Gillett (Brafford); her husband Ray Miller; and her siblings, Irene Jones, Howard and Lyle Gillett.
She is survived by: her children, Sue Rahn of Afton, Terry Miller (Marcie) of Thayer and Steve Miller (Amber Skeen) of Creston; her sisters-in-law, Doris Gillett of Indianola and Thelma Miller of Liberty Center; and her grandchildren, Matt Ingram (Jordan) of Winterset, Lindsay Siefken (Jason) of Cedar Rapids, Kalli Young (Luke) of Creston, Cody Miller (Lacey) of Thayer, Jessica Nish (Curtis) of Thayer, Nick Miller of Thayer and Cameron Lincoln of Creston. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
