Gaylord Henriksen Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gaylord Henriksen (Afton, Iowa), born in Audubon, Iowa, who passed away on August 7, 2019, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Gilbert Henriksen and Laura Herminna Henriksen (Christensen); his father-in-law William; his brother Virgil Henriksen (Betty); his brother-in-law Willis Stone; his nephew Alan Henriksen; and also Wyatt James Wilson.

He is survived by: his wife Mary Lois Drinovsky; his siblings, Lyle Henriksen (Evelyn) of Corning, Lois Olsen (Cliff) of Creston and Donna Stone of Kent, Wash.; his nieces and nephews, Roxanne Brown (Jack) of Creston, Cheryl Olsen of Creston, Mary Kannas (Brian) of Corning, Laurie Kierstead (Jeremy) of Snoqualmie, Julie Keaton (Chris) of Burien, Wash., Darrell Olsen of Afton, Mark Henriksen of Corning, Marvin Henriksen (T. J.) of Corning and John Henriksen (Jo Ellen) of Audubon; his brother-in-law Roger Drinovsky (Peg) of Hudson; his nephews, Doug Drinovsky (Wendy) of Hudson and Greg Drinovsky (Sue) of Topeka, Kan.; and his niece Andrea Rohrssen (Nate) of Cedar Rapids. He is also survived by many great-nieces and great-nephews and a host of friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be given to the family for later designation.
