It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edna Johnson of Afton, Iowa, born in Winterset, Iowa, who passed away on May 27, 2022, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Arthur Paullin and Mabel Rose Paullin (Cramer); her husband Ralph Johnson; her children, Ronnie Scarberry and Rhonda Sue Falk; her stepson Richard Johnson; her sisters, Dorothy Scarberry, Ruth Ann Hartsook and Ruby Beaver; her grandchildren, Cory Scarberry and Kimberly Ann Stockman; her great grandchild Ronnie Smith; and her son-in-law Butch Britain.

She is survived by: her former husband Olen Russell Scarberry; her children, Patricia Britain of Redding, Calif, Della Rae Orndorff (Marvin) of Princeton, Connie Brown (Tom) of Creston, Olen "Randy" Scarberry of Creston, Cindy Sleep (Doug) of Bedford, Ricky Scarberry (Susie Scherer) of Creston and Bradley Scarberry of Afton; her stepson Max Johnson; and her brother Frank Paullin (Sharon) of Creston. She is also survived by many grandchildren; many great-grandchildren.

In Lieu of flowers memorials can be left for the family to plant trees in her name.
