He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Carl Eklund and Agnes Marie Eklund (Swanson); and his in-laws, John and Jackie Moon. He is survived by: his wife Sharon Rose Moon of Afton; his children, Teresa Cose (Brian) of Sherill, Eric Eklund (Jeanna) of Afton and Carl Eklund (Lindsay) of Shannon City; his sisters, Sharon Wasteney (Craig) of Hannibal and Kathy Haines (Joe) of Des Moines; his brother-in-law Ron Moon (Hallie) of Harlingen; his grandchildren, Alyssa, Brittney, Tori, Jerod, Jacy, Logan, Lindsey, Cale, Ivy and Coy; and his great grandchildren, Roman, Korra, Isabella, Lela, Brooklin, Jaxie and Aryanna. He is also survived by one nephew and five nieces.
Bob was a member of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Creston, the North American Limousin Foundation, and the Union County Fair Beef Committee.
