Richard left this world on October 4, 2024 at the age of 101, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul and Opal; his daughter Marcella Jean; his wives, Lucy and Cleola; his sons, Donny and Doug; and his siblings, Norma Herring, Florence Hutzell, Shirley Snyder and Phillp Snyder.
He is survived by: his sister Kay Struble; his grandchildren, Dallas Snyder and Natalie Snyder; and his daughter-in-law Judy Snyder.
As evidenced by his long life, Richard was a strong, healthy man, it would take more than a helicopter crash to bring him down (or an aneurysm, or COVID at the age of 99).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. John's Catholic Church in Adel or Hospice of the Midwest.
