He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Dippold and Helen Dippold (Shera); his wife Johanna Jean Poffenberger (Jo); and his sister Marjorie Cooper. He is survived by: his children, Terry Dippold (Mary) of Urbandale and Connie Wayman of Des Moines. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
