He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Orlo Aldrich and Mabel Aldrich (Addy); his wife Ruby Elaine Bacon of Panora; his children, Karen Ash (James) of Dallas Center, Brent Aldrich of Dallas Center and Tim Aldrich (Stephanie) of Johnston; his brother Vernon Aldrich (Jean) of Dallas Center; his grandchildren, Jennifer Waldrop (Greg), Heather Chatton (Scott), Cristy, Stacy Ash, Taylor Honeck (Peyton), Tara Aldrich, Jayson Aldrich (Cassie), Jessica Woods (Zack), Stacy Soderstrum (Tanner), Jeremy Mains, Joe Mains, Justin Jenkins (Tonya), Kristin Jorgensen (Josh), Josh Aldrich (Sarah) and Amanda Thompson (Curtis); his son Steve; and his daughter-in-law Pam Aldrich.
