As Darrell departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Darrell. Though Darrell may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Pauline Reynolds and Benton Brigadier Hutzell; and his sisters, Doris and Lois. He is survived by: his sons, Kip, Benny and Dave (Jenny); and his brothers, Dale (Velma) and Doyle (Carolyn). He is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Calendar Caldwell Parrish Funeral Home & Crematory - Adel Chapel (735 S 14th St, Adel, IA 50003). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
