She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Ernst and Elizabeth Ernst; her former spouse Russell Paul Kerns; her husband Calvin Heater; her daughter Linda Brock (Kevin); her grandson Jason Guisinger; her sisters, Alma Hall and Cecilia Harris; her children-in-law, Dan Guisinger, Kevin McCann and Shirley Heater; and her grandson-in-law Dennis Allers.

She is survived by: her children, Dennis Heater (Delores) of Oak Grove, Missouri, Darla Seaton (Marvin) of Omaha, Nebraska, Kathy Dealmo (Russell) of Hamden, Connecticut, Darnell Kinzie (Jim) of Anita, Donette Guisinger of Grimes and Deanne Chind (Rick) of Osceola; and her nephews, Tom Heater (Melinda) and Glenn Harris (Gaye). She is also survived by the many grandchildren and great-grandchildren children and great-great-grandchildren.
