She was predeceased by: her parents, Cleo Trier and Ruth Trier. She is survived by: her husband Gilbert Brown; her daughters, Susan Schafer (Tim) of Adair and Sheryl Richter (Dennis) of Stuart; and her grandchildren, Dakota Schafer (Allison) of Adair, McKenna Keck (Justin) of Adair, Navey Schafer (Jacob) of Adair, Cross Schafer of Adair, Jacob Reed (Majda) of Cedar Falls, Joshua Reed of Cedar Falls, Tate Richter, Gracie Richter and Maya Richter of Stuart. She is also survived by other loving relatives and friends.

Memorials may be directed toward Guthrie County Hospital.
