It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joe Buckner of Adair, Iowa, who passed away on March 26, 2025, at the age of 53, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Larry Leon Buckner; his grandparents, Leon, Margaret Buckner and Bertha Wyllie; his aunts and uncles, Max, Terry, Cecil Buckner, Beth Barlow and Patty Ingel; and his cousin Michael Eggert.
He is survived by: his mother Wanda Marie Buckner (Wyllie) of Adair; his siblings, Rick Buckner (Julie Fredregill) of Adair, Tammy Zimmerline (Jim) of Adair and Lynette Carney (Randy) of Adair; and his pet Bella. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Lamb Funeral Home - Fontanelle (510 1st St, Fontanelle, IA 50846). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, April 2nd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
Memorials: To the Joe Buckner Memorial Fund to be established by the family at a later date.
