He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Scholl and Hazel Scholl (Gissible); his daughter Jayne Ann; his parents-in-law, Marion and Dorothy Perdue; his siblings, Edwin Scholl (Ruby), Doris Scarlett (George) and Hilda Falconer (Boyd); and his son-in-law Darrell Jensen.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Scholl; his daughters, Joni Raper (Rusty), Gina Gettler (Tom), Judi Rumple, Julie Jensen and Jyl Scholl; and his sister Rosalie Kopp (Gene). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren.
