Gregory James Wedemeyer Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gregory James Wedemeyer (Adair, Iowa), who passed away on December 13, 2022, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Wedemeyer and Margaret Wedemeyer; his sister Janet Wedemeyer; and his parents-in-law, Leo Wright and Joyce Wright.
He is survived by: his wife Renae of Adair; his children, Olivia Wedemeyer of Denver, CO, Tara Wedemeyer (Mike Walter) of Kansas City, MO, Dax Wedemeyer (Lisa Josephsen) and Seth Wedemeyer (Haleyann Annicchiarico); his granddaughters, Josephine, Maura Walter and Everleigh Wedemeyer; and also, Anne Barrett (Bill), Rosemary Walmsley (Doug), Carolyn Morris (Todd), Diane Cruikshank (Dave), Phyllis Allen (Wylie) and Jerome Wedemeyer (Kim). He is also survived by his brothers and sisters-in-law, many cousins, nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Greg's honor to Adair's Volunteer Fire Department or to the American Diabetes Association and may be left or sent to the funeral home at P.O. Box 523 - Atlantic, IA 50022.
