Elaine Gettler Obituary

We are sad to announce that on April 23, 2021 we had to say goodbye to Elaine Gettler of Adair, Iowa. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Charlie Wedemeyer and Elizabeth Wedemeyer (Faga); her former husband Walt Gettler; her sons, Dennis and Duane Gettler; her granddaughter Debra Grant; her great grandchild Cade Gettler; her brother Marvin Wedemeyer; her children, Karen Grant (Jim), Donald Gettler (Derinda), Delmar Gettler (Marie), Dean Gettler (Sharon), Daryl Gettler (Sherry) and David Gettler (Kristen); and her daughters-in-law, Sheryl Nichols and Mary Gettler. She was also cherished by 27 grandchildren; 55 great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be directed to the family and will be designated later in memory of Elaine.
