He was predeceased by: his parents, Charley and Treva Willis (Kelly); his wife Carol; his siblings, Treva, Harold, Howard and Harvey; and his brothers-in-law, Lloyd Penrose, Ralph Tucker and Larry Vandemark.
He is survived by: his close friend Mary "Jerry" Hayes of Ackworth; his children, Gerald Hayes (Linda) of Indianola, Randy Hayes (Kelly) of Ackworth and Mary Thomas of Ackworth; and his siblings, Alyce Tucker of Tuttle, OK, Althea Penrose of Logan, Karolyn Vandemark of Woodbine and Henry Willis (Carol) of Clute, TX. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given in Harlen's memory to Care Initiatives Hospice.
