She was predeceased by: her husband Merle; her sisters, Francis Flessner (Irvin) and Marlys Arends (Edwin); and her brother-in-law Delmar Janssen. She is survived by: her parents, Hilko Viet and Martha Viet (Lauterbach); her siblings, Bernard Viet (Norma), Hilko Viet (Bernice) and Jennie Mae Janssen of Ackley; and her half-sister Esther Dickes of Streamwood. She is also survived by three step children; four step grandchildren; eleven step great grandchildren.
