She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Rhoda Harned and Ollis Harned; her children, Mike Hirth (Deb Fowler) and Connie Maifeld (Roger); her sisters-in-law, Marge Harned and LuAnn Harned; her siblings, Roberta Lakin, Lynn Harned, Darlene Johnson, Hayes Harned and Jackie Laurie; her siblings-in-law, Raymond Hirth, DeWayne Johnson, John Lakin, Dave Laurie and Esther Hirth; and her daughter-in-law Jean Hirth. She was also cherished by four grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; six step-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the St. John's United Church of Christ (716 3rd Ave, Ackley, IA 50601). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
Memorial donations in memory of Jane can be made to St. John's UCC in Ackley or Hartman Reserve Nature Center in Cedar Falls.
