He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Sinning and Louise Sinning (Kies); his wife Marian Johnson; and his siblings, Surles, Wilbur, Floyd Sinning and Bernice Heitland.
He is survived by: his stepchildren, Vicki Zenk of Gladbrook, Ronald Sprain of Ackley, Mary Dodd of Northwood and Judy Terry of Krum, TX; and his grandchildren, Angie Wiebensohn of Gladbrook, Michael Murrain of Mankato, MN, Kate Murrain of Middleton, WI, Josh Dodd of Osage, Jackie Moyer of Denver, IA, Jill Flugum of Lake Mills, Matt Sprain of Ackley, Tyler Sprain of Ackley and Shea Harrison of Waxahachie, TX. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren.
