Darlene Ulfers Obituary
We are sad to announce that on June 4, 2019, at the age of 87, Darlene Ulfers (Ackley, Iowa) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dick Ackerman and Caroline Ackerman (Kreimeyer); her spouse Chris "Bud" Ulfers; and her siblings, Robert Ackerman and Dorothy Janssen.
She is survived by: her children, Darla Schroder (Carl) of Waterloo and David Ulfers (Ann Weckop) of Owatonna, MN; her grandchildren, Carrie Kammeyer (Brandon) of Waterloo, Caryn Lindholm (TJ) of Marion, Amanda Link (Austin) of Minnesota, Lexie Ulfers and Cody Ulfers of Minnesota; her brother Kenneth Ackerman (Gertrude) of Ackley; and her sister-in-law Naomi Ritzman of Hampton. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
In June of 2014, she moved to Rosewood Estates in Waterloo, Iowa after the diagnosis of Alzheimer's disease.
