He is survived by: his children, Kelsi Mercado of Waimea, Lia Mercado of Waimea and Cody Mercado of Hilo; and his siblings, Yolanda Willing (Albert) of Hawaii Kai and Robin Mercado (Beverly) of Honolulu. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
