It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mona Lisa Wood of Waimea, Hawaii, born in Wailuku, Hawaii, who passed away on December 1, 2021, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Pedro Balmores and Blasa Balmores; her husband John H. Wood; her daughters, Cheryl-Lynn Hampton (Tony) of Las Vegas and Jacqueline Sills (Eric) of Waimea; and her siblings, Mary Balmores of Oahu, Elizabeth Wong (Clayton) of Las Vegas, Nevada., Larry Balmores (Perlita) and John Balmores (Patricia) of Oahu. She was also cherished by 11 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
