He is survived by: his significant other Candace Kauahi; his daughters, Denise Watson-Higa and Kuu Kauahi-Higa; his stepdaughter Michelle Gregory of Waimea; his son Kaipo Higa of Henderson; his mother Shizuye Higa of Oahu; and his sisters, Sharon Higa and Carol Christopher of Oahu. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.
