He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence "Butch" Moniz and Margaret Texeira Moniz; and his aunts and uncles, Eddie, Stan, Stephen, John Moniz, Lu Moniz Coelho, Marie Moniz Sukol, Rusty Moniz Biddix, Johnny Texeira and Mary Texeira Torres.
He is survived by: his siblings, Wayne Moniz of Wailuku, Keith Moniz (Celia) of Kula, Marvin Moniz (Jocelyn) of Waikapu and Larnette Moniz of Oklahoma City; his nieces, Megan Moniz of Wailuku and McKenzie Koyanagi (Deren); and his great-nephew Duke Koyanagi of Kula.
Visitation will be held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Anthony Church (1627 Mill St, Wailuku, HI 96732). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
