It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Apo of Wailuku, Hawaii, born in Lahaina, Hawaii, who passed away on July 30, 2020, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Sukenkuro Kawakami and Sadako Kawakami; her husband George E. Apo; her children, Sheldon K. Apo, Georgetta L. Apo and Donna Marie Apo; and her siblings, Wataru Kawakami, Kazumi Kawakami, Fumiko Kiyokawa, Cecilia Kawakami, Florence Villarian and Yoshiko Yamamoto.
She is survived by: her son Gordon Kamee Kahele Apo; and her sisters-in-law, Alice Kawakami, Kuuipo Apo Yip (Richard), Frances Apo, Louise Apo and Maria Apo.
