Mitsuo Tanaka Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mitsuo Tanaka (Wailea, Hawaii), born in Ninole, Hawaii, who passed away on March 8, 2019 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Mitsuo was loved and cherished by many people including: sons, Curtis Tanaka (Lori) of El Paso and Dennis Tanaka (Michele) of Waimea; siblings, Hiromi Tanaka (Jo-Anne) of Makawao, Isao Tanaka (Hisako) of Hilo, Shizue Ichinotsubo of Honomu, Kikuko Kuwahara of Hilo and Loretta Hayashida (Hiroshi) of Bainbridge Island, Washington; and sisters-in-law, Faith Tanaka of Torrance and Michiko Yamamoto of San Francisco, California. Mitsuo was also cherished by five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
