She was loved and cherished by many people including: her sons, Robert Herkes (Lynn) of Ecuador, Ken Herkes of Florida and Doug Herkes (Ann Cobb) of Waikoloa; and her granddaughter Sara Herkes (Travis Rupp) of Colorado. She was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
