She is survived by: her children, Jentzen Valenzuela of Waikoloa, Edwin Valenzuela (Kanoe Conte) of Hawi, Kimi Vakauta (Sione) of Halaula, Mei Ling Sauta (Paulo) of Kapaau and Tiffany Kupukaa of Kohala; her father Sylvester Paalua, Jr. of Kawaihae; and her siblings, Ryder Paalua (Darcy) of Kailua-Kona, Sylvia Okubo of Kawaihae, Colleen Henne (Scott) of Kohala, Elsie Dela Cruz (Eric) of Kohala, Jan Paalua and Miu Lan of Kawaihae. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
