He is survived by: his parents, Togiola Vaesau and Mativa Mika Vaesau; his significant other Mari-Emma Akima; and his children, Taumalatou Vaesa (Yvonne), Tiffanie (Atimalala), Tofilua (Jayenene) and Emmalani Mika (John). He is also survived by ten grandchildren.
