She was predeceased by: her husband Samuel John Kamauoha Makepa. She is survived by: her parents, George and Henrietta (Kaleponi); and her children, Samuel (Marie), Sandy (Karie), Nicholas (Cheryl), Renee Makepa-Cowell (Edward), Jan Makepa-Maynes (Robin Sr.) and Alyson Makepa-McRay (Lee). She is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, numerous step grand/great grandchildren, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
