He was predeceased by: his wife Amparo Tolentino Rafael; and his children, Cameron, Faye and Tracy. He is survived by: his children, Charles Jr. (Vickie), Colleen Hauptman (Tom), Chris (Rika) and Cheryl Jarrell. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren, and 19 great-grandchildren.
