Bernice Yoshiko Tanaka Tomiyama Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bernice Yoshiko Tanaka Tomiyama (Pepeekeo, Hawaii), who passed away on August 18, 2019, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her children, Penelope Tomiyama of Honolulu and Myles Tomiyama (Sandra) of Hilo; her siblings, George Tanaka (Nellie) of Fairfield, California, Tsuyako Fujitani of Honolulu, Elsie Doherty (James) of New York and Carole Tsutsumi (Hardy) of Hilo; and her sisters-in-law, Shizue Tanaka of Honolulu and Mabel Tanaka of Hilo. She is also survived by two grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; numerous nephews, nieces and cousins.
