He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Shigeno "Shirley" Oba Kawamoto of Papaikou, HI; his children, Floyd Kawamoto (Lauren Oie) of Hilo, HI, Earl Kawamoto of Papaikou, HI and Lois Giraud (George Makua) of Hilo, HI; his siblings, Tsutomu Kawamoto of Hilo, HI, Raymond Kawamoto (Diane) of Hilo, HI, Mitsuko Tomono of Volcano, HI and Masako Shimasaki of Hilo, HI; and his grandchildren, Karissa Giraud and Keanu Giraud (Erika). He was also cherished by one great grandson; brothers in law, sisters in law, cousins, nieces & nephews.
