He is survived by: his wife Hazel Takemoto of Papaikou; his children, Neil Takemoto of Washington, D. C., Lianne Gassner (Richard) of Portland, Lori Takemoto (Ryan Kodama) of Kapolei and Alicia Kaneshiro (Jonah) of Kaneohe; and his brothers, Shizuo Takemoto of Hilo and Kiyoshi Takemoto (Setsuko) of Papaikou. He is also survived by two grandchildren; numerous nephews, nieces and cousins.
