He is survived by: his wife Tomoko Matsuda of Papaikou; his children, Wesley Matsuda (Trisia Uchida) of Papaikou, Wayne Matsuda (Lenora) of Hilo and Colleen Aina of Hilo; his nephew Stephan Matsuda of Los Angeles; his grandson Shannon Oyama (Thao) of Mililani; and also Oahu.
