It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alfred Leite Jr. of Papaikou, Hawaii, born in Pepeekeo, Hawaii, who passed away on January 23, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Norma Leong Leite of Papaikou; his children, Randy Leite (Maggie) of Papaikou, Debra Leite-Hulama (Jesse) of Hilo and Blossom Leite of Illinois; his siblings, Walter Leite (Luana) of Hilo, Herbert Leite (Paula Rodrigues) of Papaikou, Gabriel Leite of Papaikou, Harold Leite (Janice) of Papaikou, Michael Leite (Sandy) of Mountain View, Hawaii, Betty Puakea of Hilo and Marie Matsumura of Papaikou; and his siblings-in-law, Leonard Crivello of Papaikou, Wendell Kaehuaea of Hilo, Maria Leite (Big Island) of Waimea and Diana Leite of Hilo. He is also survived by four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; numerous nephews, nieces and cousins.
