It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sheldon Dwight Haili Sr. of Pahoa, Hawaii, born in Hilo, Hawaii, who passed away on July 1, 2022, at the age of 46, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his close friend Marie Ramangmou of Nevada; his children, Sheldon Haili, Jr. of San Diego, Shannon Haili of Hilo, Rieshel Haili of Pahoa and Phoenix Haili of San Diego; his siblings, Walthum Haili, Jr., Chad Haili (Chantelle) of Pahoa and Gerlyn Solis (Louie) of San Diego; his parents, Ella Manuel and Orlando Manuel; and his siblings, Jay Manuel, Justin Manuel (Krystalyn Wilson), Riley Asuncion of Pahoa, Jodie Aiona of Hilo, Janelle Gomes (Chris) of Keaau and Erica Menzsa (Jeffrey) of Mountain View. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
