He is survived by: his wife Tokimi Miyatake of Pahoa; his sons, K. Mitchell Miyatake of Pahoa and K. Mason Miyatake of Hilo; and his siblings, Eddie Miyatake (Nancy) of Waipahu, Oahu and Frances Hayashi of Hilo. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
